Welcome to DailyEnglishPod.com, the place where you can learn English in a way that is actually fun and convenient. Here’s how it works:
Each day we will add a new lesson to the website. Each lesson will have an audio portion and a text portion. The audio portion will be available to listen to on the website or you can download the podcast (which is an mp3 format) so you can conveniently listen to it on your mp3 player. It will allow you to improve your listening skills and teach you proper pronunciation.
The text portion is there to enhance your learning experience and help absorb what you learned in the audio portion. It will also help to improve your spelling and help you to understand things you may not have picked up while listening to the lesson.
Whether you are a busy person who is constantly on the go, or want to spend hours a day working to improve your English, DailyEnglishPod.com is the perfect solution. You can move at your own pace, and our hosts & community members will answer any questions you have along the way. It’s like having your own personal tutor at a fraction of the cost!
Aaron is the entertaining co-host of Daily English Pod. In his spare time he enjoys doing a variety of things, one of which is traveling. He has traveled extensively in Asia and in the Americas. The place he would like to explore next is Europe. Aaron is also an avid skier, camper, and sports fanatic. His favorite activity to do on the weekends is to go out dancing (unless he has a date with a cute girl). Music has always been a big part of his life, and he learned to play the piano at a young age. While living in Asia, he also developed a love for karaoke (a past time that is not so popular in the United States).
Aaron earned a bachelors degree in foreign language and a minor in business management from Brigham Young University (BYU). His original major was accounting, but while attending BYU, Aaron developed an appreciation for foreign languages and cultures. That appreciation and interest lead him to change his major from business to foreign language.
For his young age, Aaron’s work experience is quite extensive. He has worked for several companies, both large and small, is sales and marketing. His most recent position was with a large marketing firm in which he was stationed in
Aaron has continued to follow his passion for language and business by partnering with his good friend Jacob to create Daily English Pod. He is excited about the work, and looks forward to helping listeners improve their English in a fun, convenient way. Beth Anne is our talented content developer. She is from Thatcher, Arizona, and her family consists of ten children and two loving parents. She has three brothers and six sisters, most of whom now reside in Mesa, Arizona. Her three oldest siblings are married and have children adding two nieces and three nephews to the family. She is currently engaged to a dashing young man named Roman, a native Russian from Siberia, Russia.
Beth Anne has always been interested in learning languages, and has studied several different languages for over 12 years. She is still studying them, but her main second languages are American Sign Language, Spanish, and Russian.
She recently became interested in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language), and has been studying TESOL and Linguistics at Brigham Young University.
She completed two TESOL internships, one in Provo, Utah at Selnate International School in the beginning of 2007; and one in Tokyo, Japan last summer (2007). She loved her experience teaching English in Japan, and is currently teaching students in Korea with an online program which uses sound and video. She is very excited to continue teaching all over the world.
Jacob Stein is from Salt Lake City, Utah, and his wife is from Taiwan. They have 3 sons and are currently living in Yuan Lin, Taiwan. Jacob is the founder of DailyEnglishPod.com. He prides himself in being an Internet Marketing expert and has big plans for making this website a huge success!
